"We had a dreadful night at Saints & Scholars and was left really disapointed. We arranged to have a birthday meal for nine of us at 8pm and we should have known what to expect on our arrival as there was a lot of shouting coming from the kitchen. The service was disorganised and chaotic and the staff didn't even know what the Fish Of The Day was. Two hours later, gone 10pm, and we were still waiting for our main courses of which only seven had arrived. The fact we were being offered desserts before even receiving our main course should tell you how long we waited. The food was very average but sounded great on the menu. The presentation was poor and I definitely wouldn't recommend. I think this place is trading on its location. Several other customers commented on how poor it was in our earshot but I didn't complain on the night as my brother-in-law was trying to enjoy his birthday night and I didn't want to make it any worse. We phoned on the Monday afterwards and told the manager who said he would investigate. I hope he does this quickly because I wouldn't want anyone else to waste £300 in this place. A massive overhaul is needed." -
