 | | | | | Piccolino Italian Restaurant Manchester - reader comments | "The quality of the food at Piccolinos was excellent, the atmosphere was buzzing and the service was spot on. We had a great night, wonderful food and excellent wine. For Manchester prices, we felt it was really good value for money. The tomato garlic bread is the best I've had. I love this restaurant and will be returning again soon. If there are just the two of you, ask to be seated in the top area, as it seems more personal up there and is good for noseying about." - Catherine Akin, Manchester - TRUSTED REVIEWER (29/7/09 visited on a Thursday evening) |
| | "I love Piccolino. My boyfriend and I come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed. The only thing I would suggest is them to bring back the white chocolate ice cream! Delicious!" - joanne andrew, manchester - 3/12/08 (visited on a saturday evening) |
| "3 of us visited Piccolino on a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy so we were shown to the bar for a drink. After about 15 minutes we were shown to our table, when it became available. Our orders arrived promptly and, although the food was good, we only had pasta and pizza between us so I assume it didn't challenge the chef too much. The mixed Italian dessert to share was especially good and very good value. The whole meal was quite good value too. My only complaint would be about the levels of noise. It's nice to have a lively atmosphere but with it being busy at times it was deafening." - Stephen Lake, Manchester 15/11/08 (visited on a Saturday evening) |
| | "At Piccolinos we had a friendly attentive Italian waiter. Starter of Aubergines with Parmezan was good, Seafood Skewers good (good qualty fish and seafood), Prawn Pasta a bit too garlicky, wine good. A bit overpriced maybe, but nothing extreme." - diona, reading - 5/11/08 (visited on a monday evening) |
| "I have been to Piccolinos on numerous occasions and love the food and atmosphere. I would recommend, if there are only two of you, to ask to sit in the 'top' area as it is much nicer and seems more personal. There is always a real buzz whatever time you go and it is always busy. I would recommend this place for definite and will be returning as soon as I can. There is something to suit everyone and my friend who is vegetarian loves the food here. As part of the Bar & Grill group I would choose Piccolinos every time over their other offerings, Restaurant Bar & Grill and Zinc" - Catherine Akin, Manchester 30/9/08 (visited on a Friday evening) |
